Coronavirus Safety and Services

Our Precautions Given COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
March 20, 2020

These are unprecedented times in our nation's history, and for the Bob Rohrman Auto Group. When the COVID-19 pandemic threat first occurred, Schaumburg Kia took all the steps outlined by the CDC to limit the threat and spread of the virus to protect our employees and customers. The dealership doubled its daily cleaning and disinfecting of our facility, and we practiced social distancing in all our departments. We also reduced our hours to 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. to allow employees to still work but be able to spend more time with their families,

Yesterday, when Governor Pritzker announced the Illinois "stay home" order shutting down all nonessential businesses, Shortly after the announcement, Governor Pritzker established Illinois dealerships as an "essential business," as people still need to service their vehicles or replace them entirely.

Our employee and customer safety still remains our number one priority, but we have elected to remain open to provide maintenance services, replacement parts, and sales.  No employee who remains working during this pandemic period, was forced to work, these employees have elected to stay. The dealership will remain open from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m and will continue to practice all CDC protocols, with no more than 10 people in in one area will be enforced.  Please also keep in mind, we have online sales, with vehicles being brought to you, cleaned and disinfected.

This is a very fluid time, with things changing daily. Please check our website for all the latest updates and news about our dealership's hours and operations.

Thank you for your time and loyalty to Schaumburg Kia.
