2018 Kia Sportage Schaumburg IL

2018 Kia Sportage Schaumburg IL

Not every vehicle can be remodeled or upgraded year after year, so considering the Sportage crossover was just redesigned for the 2017 model year we weren’t surprised to hear that the 2018 Kia Sportage in Schaumburg IL is a carryover model this year. The award-winning crossover was decked out with all kinds of enhancements and updates last year, and those great new features, technologies and design cues continue on this year.

With three different trim levels available and two engine options among them, you’ll have plenty of options available to you as you shop for your new compact Sportage crossover. Whether you’re looking for an LX, EX or SX, a more powerful engine or a more efficient one, and even whether or not you want all-wheel drive, we can help you get behind the wheel of the right Kia Sportage for you.

Driver Assistance Safety Feature Availability

There are a host of driver-assistive safety features available in the 2018 Kia Sportage, so we thought we’d run you through the availability of each in terms of trim levels. Autonomous Emergency Braking is one of the biggest safety technologies on the market, and you’ll be happy to hear that it’s available on both the LX and EX models but only comes standard on the SX trim level. Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure warning are set up the same way.

Blind Spot Detection, on the other hand, comes standard in both the EX and SX trim levels, as does Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Both of these features are also available on the entry-level LX trim level, just not standard. As for Dynamic Bending Lights, they come standard on the SX trim but aren’t available in the other two. Auto-Dimming Mirror with HomeLink is also standard only on SX, but it is available in the EX trim level.
